I recently got my hands on some photo’s which where taken on several 10.000 volt parties. This party was all about Punk and Rock n’ Roll. In the background you can see details of the Logo Flag I made for this party. It still exists in a new venue in Tilburg called ‘The Little Devil’.

Psychoruin was a Psychobilly party which lasted for two times. Also for this party I did the Logo Design. At about the same time I was involved in another Rock n’ Roll party called 10.000 volt. I  think it’s still there somewhere in Brabant.

Here you see the big Medusa Logo Backdrop. After Medusa was beheaded, there was another gothic party called Mordor.  I also designed this Logo.

These are really the last Medusa Flags I’ve recently photographed. These Flags decorated the walls of the venue. Remember smells take you back in time?  The smell of these flags really did take me back to the Force!

In 2003, the first new party to be given, after Medusa, was Mordor. This was also a gothic event. For this party I did a lot of new Flags & Backdrops and a new Logo Design. All the flags were done in blacklight paint. We wanted to have all the art works in ‘Metropolis’ style. I’m not sure if that can be clearly seen, but I tried to do something with the Four Horsemen of the Apocalyps. Here you see pictures of the Drawings and the Flags.

GIFGROEN

After Medusa there were other ‘underground’ parties. One of them was Gifgroen a more punk, alternative 80s, psychobilly event. For this one time party I designed the logo and handprinted the Flags and Backdrops. The Karloff-head is my favorite. Nowadays it is the backdrop for the Cellar Zombies, a Psychobilly band from Holland. Also the Bettie Page flag is a nice first of many more to come. All these flags were done in blacklightpaint.

When the Medusa parties were at its peak, I was asked to design a logo and some decorations for a one time gothic event, called Eclipse.  The name of the party reminded me of the Norse mythology, in which an eclipse was seen as two wolves chasing the sun and the moon and catching up. Here you see all the art I produced for this party.
